Three Suspects Charged For Rape & Murder

Three of four suspects who have been linked to the abduction, rape and murder of a 21-year-old bartender in Clarendon just under two weeks ago, have been charged.

Another suspect — identified as Tristan Neil, aka ‘Tristar’ and ‘Chiney Man’, who is of Indian descent — is being pursued by the investigators.

Dominique Parnell of Danks District in North Central Clarendon was murdered and her body mutilated and partially burnt after she was abducted from a dance on May 1, in the Halse Hall community of South East Clarendon.

After her friends failed to locate her at the end of the session, they raised an alarm. Speculations about her fate ended when her body was discovered hours later in bushes near the Halse Hall community football field.

Charged in relation to her death are: 23-year-old Javaughn David Cooper, aka ‘Tucker’; 22-year-old Swain Robinson, o/c ‘Rusty’; and a 17-year-old male. (He cannot be named because he’s not yet 18 years old.)

The trio has been charged with abduction, robbery with aggravation, rape and murder.

Both Cooper and Robinson are unemployed and reside at Bottom Halse Hall.
