St Elizabeth couple found guilty of human trafficking

A St. Elizabeth couple have been convicted on human trafficking charges in the Home Circuit Court yesterday.
The couple had been charged in relation to the trafficking and rape of a Haitian teenage girl.
A jury found Rohan Ebanks guilty of rape, trafficking in persons, and facilitating trafficking. While his common law wife, Venoshia Reeves, had previously pleaded guilty to facilitating human trafficking.
The couple are set to be sentenced on July 7.
