Police in Birmingham, England have cancelled a scheduled performance for Jamaican dancehall artiste Alkaline due to security concerns.
This marks the second tour stop on Alkaline’s New Level Unlocked UK tour to by cancelled by authorities. The first sheduled show in Bedfordshire was also cancelled on similar grounds.
The dancehall sensation was scheduled to perform at the Piccadilly Banqueting Studios on Friday, however cops requested the concert be withdrawn due to the risk of crime and disorder at the event.
The “Formula” deejay is still scheduled continue his tour until June 18.
