Scotiabank account set up to help poor family bury child

Scotiabank Jamaica has come to the assistance of the Butler’s by setting up an account through which the public can donate money to help the family with funeral expenses for their eight-year-old daughter.

Young Kemeisha Butler died at the Bustamante Hospital for Children on March 8. The cause of her death has not been established.

The Butlers live in a hut located in Hellshire, St Catherine, with their other two young children, ages two and six years.

Persons wanting to assist the Butler’s can contact them at 856-5255, or send donations to their Scotiabank account to Stephen A Butler. The account number is 985525 that is located at the Scotiabank Centre branch in downtown Kingston. Persons can also drop off contributions at The Gleaner, 7 North Street, c/o The Butlers.
