Man disarmed, chopped to death in St James

A St James man is now dead after being chopped in a violent dispute with two other men in Catadupa, St James on Friday.

Police reports say the deceased, Neil Griffiths of Lapland district, allegedly went on a attacking spree in the community. Griffiths allegedly attacked a farmer in the community with a machete, and then fleeing the scene.

Griffiths then reportedly attacked a second man, however the man managed to disarm him, and he was chopped to death.

The other two wounded men have been admitted in hospital in critical but stable conditions.
