Heavy Rainfall And Thunderstorms Expected Over The Weekend

Heavy rainfall, including thunderstorms, is predicted for most of the island over the weekend.

This is due to a persistent trough across Jamaica and the central Caribbean, which is expected to produce increased rainfall across the island over the weekend.

The specific weather forecast is for periods of showers and thunderstorms, which should be heavy at times, to affect sections of all parishes, beginning on Saturday afternoon and continuing into Sunday.

The Meteorological Service, in advising of the expected weather pattern, said it will continue to monitor the situation.
