26-year-old Flankers man beheaded and body burnt in St. James

The St James Police have launched an investigation into the circumstance under which a man was beheaded and his body burnt, in Tangle River District yesterday.

Dead is 26 year old Leon Grant also called ‘Stocky’ of Sea View Heights, Flankers in the parish.

Reports are that Grant was reported missing on Friday October 16.

Further reports from the Spring Mount Police are that about 6 am Saturday, residents of Tangle River heard explosions and also saw smoke coming from a section of the community.

The Police were summoned and on arrival officers reportedly found the burnt body of a headless man.

Police say a burnt out blue Toyota corolla motor car was found a few metres away from where the body was found.
